I am lucky enough to call the town of New Canaan, CT my home.  It truly is a special place and I am not just saying that because I live here.  One of my family members said to me, “Your town is like a Norman Rockwall painting”  Now like most towns we have our Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and J. Crew but most of the stores and restaurants are locally owned.  This town is proof that when you go back to your roots and keep things local you can thrive!!  I LOVE supporting local business and helping them succeed!!  Here are TKC favs..

“Step outside of Italy for Hawaiian Big Eye tuna tartare with avocado and wasabi tobiko, and return for handmade potato gnocchi with gorgonzola cream. Solé’s inventive menu features savory wood-fired pizzas and sumptuous main dishes like maple-glazed Atlantic salmon, spiedini of lamb tenderloin, and wood-roasted Amish chicken. Our famous tiramisu concludes your meal on a decidedly sweet note.”

South End Uncorked

“With quality and passion always a priority, proprietor and executive chef, Nick Martschenko, builds on his expertise offering delectable small plates- perfect for snacking or sharing- along with beer, wine and water, all served on tap! A superior, craft cocktail menu is highlighted with a nod to classic cocktails all concocted with a South End UNCORKED twist.”
