Have you ever heard of Plum Island, Massachusetts? Tucked into the Northshore, Plum Island is a barrier island off the coast of Massachusetts. The island itself is split between the towns of Newbury and Newburyport (literally down the middle) and has enjoyed under the radar summers because Salisbury, MA and Hampton Beach, NH are ten minutes away and have toursit-trap inducing boardwalks with arcades.
